Hola - June 28,2018

So this week was alright im already ready to get out of this CCM even though my spanish is pretty weak, every day is pretty similar now we spend like 13 hours in a classroom learning spanish then they teach us how to preach the gospel but the teachers here talk in spanish so i only understand like 75% of what they are saying then they make us practice teaching each other lessons in spanish and then we do progressive investigator which is when our teachers pretend to be investigators and we teach them in spanish its great but my problem is i dont know much spanish. they told us that for weeks 5 and 6 we are only allowed to speak in spanish always and we get in trouble if we are caught speaking in english so that will be exciting. my district is doing well we are all good friends now and have a lot of fun trying to learn spanish and laughing at all our mistakes. our maestros are cool but sometimes kind of intense with how much spanish they expect us to know after only 3 weeks but its all cool. something cool that happened this week was the CCM got its first ever batch of haitian missionaries they speak creol and french so they have translators that follow them around who speak french creol spanish and english which is wild. they arent actually going to spanish though there translators are going to train them in french i think then they go to countries that speak those languages which are the islands around where they are from i cant remember the names but its cool to see the church really all over the world. something else funny that happens here is the latinos will try to talk in english but they know weird frases which is funny for example one time me and my comp. were walking down a hall and some latinos came up to us and were all "see you later alligator" then gave us fist bumps i guess they didnt realize thats not an introduction so but when my companion was like "in a while crocodile" they freaked out and were all "waaa" and then my other favorite is there is this kind of heavy set mexican elder who speaks in a really deep voice and we were about to start sacrament meeting and people are chatting and we sit next to him and he leans over to my comp and asks " que significa, you are smoking hot?". i gave a 5 minute talk in spanish that sunday too it was alright but i ended up finishing it in english cause i wasnt sure how to say what i wanted to say. not much else happened thats worth noting we kind of do mostly the same things every day just learning spanish and the computer area usually used for emailing was closed and the computers they have us on now dont have sd slots so i cant get the pictures off my camera sorry guys, and for those requesting access for that picture i sent sorry but they keep these machines locked down so when i try to give you access im blocked from the google site so it wont allow me but when i get a machine that allows me to grant access to you i will but might not be for a few weeks. lo siento have a good one everybody adios!
