Last Week In The CCM.....July 12, 2018

hola Friends and Family im in my last week here at the CCM super excited to get out of here all we do is learn spanish in a classroom for like 15 hours a day, spanish is great but sitting in a class for that long for over a month wears on you so im excited to be out in cordoba soon. Wednsday we got our flight information we leave monday morning our van from the CCM leaves at 6:30am and then our flight from mexico to buenos aires departs at around 10:30am the flight will last about 8 and a half hours then we have a fat 10 hour layover in buenos aires until our flight for cordoba leaves at 7:25am and we land at around 8:55 so in total we leave monday morning at 6:30 am and get to cordoba at 8:55 am on tuesday morning and who knows how long it will take us to get to the mission home and whatnot but either way im excited to get out there even if its gonna be a long trip. Not much else exciting happened this week and we are in the lame computer labs that dont have sd slots so i cant upload pictures to this computer.

 also if any of you guys have scriptures that are good for missionarys and missionary lessons id love to get them!

Hello friends and family this week was a little frustrating but im hopeful for the weeks to come soon. We have been working hard in the villa and branched out a little bit to this hill kind of next to it we found a guy named Ariel a while back and he seems to have potential but we didnt manage to get him to church cause his son was sick but he seems honest when he says he wants to go funny thing about him is when i contacted him the first time i asked him if he was a person that believes (sounds better in spanish) una persona muy creyente and he was eating something and with his mouth full goes "MM" and turns his leg and hes got a big ol tattoo of jesus on his leg it was awesome. We are trying to teach this girl priscila she is interested she also comes from a family of 12 kids but those 12 kids and their friends who tend to follow us and ruin our lessons which got really frustrating one day after it happened 3 times. The last 12 hours....

Monday, June 2nd, Jordan was set apart as a full time missionary for the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  For one last hurrah we went for ice cream.  This was good-bye to Sara and Charlie and their family.  They have taken good care of Jordan for the last year and a half.                  Saying Good-bye to the littles who won't be so little when they see Jordan again. El Bautismo.....August 14, 2018

Hola familia y amigos this week was good! We got our first baptism and ended the 8 month streak of no baptisms in this area! Her name was Carina Fuentes and I was able to do the baptism it was super cool we even managed to get some investigators to go to the baptism and watch it, they thought it was cool that we were all in white and really beautiful. I was pretty nervous about saying the words especially in spanish but I managed to do it all without messing up. We have been working with a family in the villa called familia Garay its a single mom with 12 kids kind of crazy. We have found some news so hopefully we can keep baptisms going in this ward and build it up nice and good.
