Only One Week Left For the Transfer....August 21, 2018

Time goes pretty quick out here in the mission not gonna lie cant believe its almost been a whole transfer. Wednsday we learn who stays and who goes in our zone people are a little sad cause our zone is super cool and we have a lot of fun ill most likely stay since im still training for another transfer but we might get a new zone leader and a few other elders out here maybe even another newbie like me i just hope if hes gringo i know better spanish than him. We got a family partially lined up for baptism next sunday the mom and her son for sure we will put in the water but she has two other sons with an asistencia that we could put in the water as well if they come to church so hopefully they come through. Sad story of the week is that we found this lady cristina and taught her a lesson and during the lesson her brother came out they both go to different churches so we invited both of them to ours and they were cool with it so we were like dope. Then later in the week we went back to visit and the dad was out front said they werent home at the moment so we talked with him a little bit and he was all yeah ill come too so we were all dope again this is sweet then on sunday when we went looking for them nobody answered or came out so we were like dang that sucks then monday or whatnot we went back and she was there and we asked what happened and she said oh i got ready in the morning and was waiting for you guys but the bus for the Cristiana iglesia came by so i just went with them, then my comp started dropping cane on this lady about the importance of authority and such and how our church is the only way to the reino of dios and she was all oh ok yeah next time ill tell them im going with you guys so it ended well but missed out on an asistencia with her but we will get her in the water. Its been a good week and i think good things are in store sadly i didnt take any photos this week still dont carry my camera around because of the area but someday ill go in real quick and snag some of the concrete shacks and whatnot. see you all later and have a good one sincerely Elder Naegle

Another week down in the area of my birth General Paz, things seem to have some potential here for us but we will have to see how it all plays out. We managed to get an investigator to church this week which was super cool her name is Carina fuentes she was taught by the sisters who they took out before us for a long time, the sisters were great and all but this area hasnt had a baptism in 6 months and most of the entries they did in the area book dont have dirrections so we cant find most of the people they even taught. Anyways even though carina came to church the room only had 21 people in it so thats not too good on the brink of dropping out of the 20s but the bishops wife and one of the councilors and his family didnt come so we were like whats going on, we went and investigated on this issue of super low attendence and went to the councilors home that was absent turns out he was just visiting family in another part because he had a relative getting the priesthood or something i a...

Hello friends and family this week was a little frustrating but im hopeful for the weeks to come soon. We have been working hard in the villa and branched out a little bit to this hill kind of next to it we found a guy named Ariel a while back and he seems to have potential but we didnt manage to get him to church cause his son was sick but he seems honest when he says he wants to go funny thing about him is when i contacted him the first time i asked him if he was a person that believes (sounds better in spanish) una persona muy creyente and he was eating something and with his mouth full goes "MM" and turns his leg and hes got a big ol tattoo of jesus on his leg it was awesome. We are trying to teach this girl priscila she is interested she also comes from a family of 12 kids but those 12 kids and their friends who tend to follow us and ruin our lessons which got really frustrating one day after it happened 3 times. The Cold Weather Brings Out The Weirdos.....September 4, 2018

Hola friends and family this week was a pretty good one over all we did have a few days of clowdy weather where it went from one day being pretty warm to the next 3 being cold with some drizzle. The people here like to find excuses to not work so when it goes from warm to cold places just close up for the day and people dont go outside except in the villa where we work the watchos wonder around which puts us in a bad spot cause nobody is around and they try to rob us. Watchos did only attempt to rob us twice during this time and both times the first time we were clapping at a house(people here in the villas dont have doorbells at their gates so we clap to bring them out) and some guy started walking up to us so as missionaries we naturally greet him "hola cómo anda" he shakes our hands greets us back then he goes "tiene celular?"
